ArchIdea Group began in 1998 as a side hustle, sparked by Gennadi’s passion for architecture. Over two decades later, we’ve evolved into a respected firm known for our personalised approach to every project. Specialising in top-notch residential design across various scales, we take pride in connecting with our clients, understanding their unique visions, and transforming their dream spaces into reality. Based in Victoria, we extend our expertise across multiple regions, delivering exceptional architectural solutions to clients throughout Australia.

Meet Gennadi

“Archidea was born out of my passion for residential architecture. I believe that architecture is not only the art of creating great looking buildings, but also the art of organising people’s lives”.

With over 30 years in the construction industry, I love using my knowledge and experience in architecture, design and construction to improve people’s lives by re-arranging their houses or apartments or creating new homes.

My journey started at a top Russian construction school in Moscow.

I moved to Australia in the mid ’90 and Archidea was born shortly.

As the Director of Archidea, I manage projects from the initial concept stage through to construction, ensuring the most practical and efficient design for your project.

My role includes assessing project buildability, providing technical support, and solving problems during both design and construction phases. I also handle all requirements for planning and building permits and work with local authorities and consultants.

What make me stand out is my hands-on experience and my talent for finding creative solutions. I enjoy turning complex ideas into beautiful, functional spaces.

Outside of work, you might find me enjoying a good wine, James Bond movies and painting with pastels.

Meet Ekaterina

“I’m a Registered Architect in Melbourne, specialising in high-end residential design, from bespoke renovations to modern luxury single residences. By understanding your vision and lifestyle, I create spaces that are both beautiful and deeply personal.“

Educated in one of the top Eastern European architectural school and master’s from RMIT, I bring a blend of deep knowledge and innovative thinking to the table. Over 8 years in the local industry have sharpened my skills in residential and commercial design Down Under. I became a registered with Architects Registration Board of Victoria in 2023.

Feasibility studies? Master planning of large estates? Private homes? Outdoor courtyards? No matter how big or small your project, I’ve tackled it all. My passion for architecture drives me to push boundaries and deliver cutting-edge solutions every time.

Beyond the drawing board, you’ll find me exploring new architectural styles and ideas, diving into design competitions, or simply unwinding on my yoga mat if it is not taken by Coal.

Hi, I’m Coal, the 1-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer and the heart of our office!

Just like my colleagues, I love connecting with everyone. My job? Bringing joy with my wagging tail and I’m right here to offer a friendly paw and cheerful company.

Outside of my work duties, I love runs, fetch, and belly rubs.
