Hampton architecture is a worldwide famous style originated on the East Coast of America and is very well adopted in Australian coastal suburbs. Hampton style of today consists of a contemporary approach to a modern living combined with rustic, casual life on the beach, giving a calming feel of being at some tranquil holiday destination.

Our client came to us with a request to design a large family home in Hampton style that represents the laidback lifestyle for the modern family.

The subject site is located within walking distance from the beach in Mornington Peninsula.

The Design of House facade mixes traditional Hampton style cladding with the rendered walls of a big garage suitable for accommodating two cars, a boat and has enough space for the workshop. Traditional front verandah overlooking the street compliments house appearance. Round vents make accents to the front gable roofs of the house and the garage. Contrasting window colour brings the modern look to the well-known classics. The front door with side windows creates a sense of security and gives way to the light into the spacious internal corridor.
